Spider-Man - Green Goblin Premium Format Statue
Spider-Man’s most infamous opponent, the Green Goblin, assisted in solidifying the position the iconic hero in comic book culture though high flying battles above New York City.
The most unhinged and terrifying of villains Spider-Man has faced, The Goblin was introduced in 1964’s The Amazing Spider-Man #14 as a halloween themed super villain, whose weapons resemble bats, ghosts and jack-o’-lanterns. Throughout the next nine years, the Green Goblin in is original incarnation, Norman Osborn, continued to menace Spider-Man’s existence, coming to a bottleneck after abducting and murdering Peter Parker’s girlfriend Gwen Stacey. In a final attempt to outwit the webbed hero, Norman Osborn uncuccessfully sends his glider to impale Spider-Man from behind, killing himself in the process.
This arch-nemesis has been immortalised in this Premium Format Statue from Sideshow Collectables. Featuring the classic incarnation of the Goblin, he is set upon his Goblin Glider soaring upon a pile of pillowing smoke with a pumpkin bomb ready to be thrown from his hand. Made from a combination of PVC and polystone, this statue stands 23” tall and is bound to be the perfect centrepiece for any Marvel Comics collection.
