Leading the expedition is the power-hungry and pretentious Governor Ratcliffe, who owns an equally pompous pug named Percy. The dog leads a luxurious life being pampered by Ratcliffe’s servant, Wiggins, which he maintains until becoming friends with Pocahontas and her pets, Meeko and Flit. The more time he spends in their company, though he still presents a selfish attitude, the once high-maintenance Percy seems to be far less high-strung and decides to stay in the New World.
