The Lord of the Rings - Ringwraith of Mordor Classic Series 1/6th Scale Statue

Faceless beings of fear and dread, the nine Nazgûl, or Ringwraiths, were undead servants of the Dark Lord Sauron, enslaved by their Rings of Power. Once kings of Men, their identities were lost, subsumed by their master’s inexorable will. When whisper of the One Ring came to Mordor, Sauron dispatched the Nine with orders to retrieve this mightiest of weapons.

Celebrating over 20 years of the Lord of the Rings movies, Weta Workshop are commemorating the event with a brand new series of polystone Middle-earth statues featuring classic characters in their signature pose and clothing.

One of the most chilling characters from The Fellowship of the Ring has been expertly captured in sculpture by Weta Workshop's Brigitte Wuest. Recreating the classic Ringwraith portrait at the scene of Bree, the statue has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Standing at 46cm tall, the stunning piece features the character in all its terrifying glory, from the tattered, flowing robes and hooded visage to the iconic sword standing tall within the Ringwraith's armoured hands.

It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, Weta Workshop treat their collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that they bring to their film work. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and manufacture of physical effects for all three films.
